The error "MainStoryboard_iPhone.storyboard" could not be opened. Line 126: Invalid PCDATA Char value 3

Has anyone had this error or knew how to fix it?

"MainStoryboard_iPhone.storyboard" could not be opened. Line 126: Invalid PCDATA Char 3

I have no idea what this means and cannot go back to the place before it starts.

I had this problem before copying and pasting words / characters from Illustrator to UILabel or UITextView via Interface Builder. My own conclusion is that some of the characters being used were not properly escaped / encoded during the copy and paste operation, which caused problems with the original storyboard file.
