What solutions should we read and display Autocad DWG files on Android?

I would like to display rich maps contained in Autocad.dwg files in an android application. I would like to know if there is an existing java library for this?

If not, is it possible to translate the dwg file into a model and draw this model according to the shape on the screen?

I cannot use google maps instead of these files. The whole point of the app is to display a map with a lot of data, and all this data is contained in my autocad file library.

Also, is there an alternative DWG format that I could use for this? (UPDATE: Will SVG do the trick?)

What I ended up doing was convert all my files to KML . I chose this format because it might be the most used format on Android for GIS.

To create a custom map, I draw overlays on the map using these hints . This is basically the most interesting solution. I don't need to pay attention to the geolocation stuff, cursor and zoom are controlled by the Google API itself.

If you are going to convert, I would suggest DXF. I haven't used it, but YCad is a DXF java library. There are also a number of DXF to SVG converters, but it's probably best to avoid the two conversions.
