Get raw touch data from Wacom touchpad

I have a Wacom Bamboo multitouch pad and would like to use it as an input device. It is connected to my computer. How can I get the raw touch data? For example, if I touch the position {x, y} on the touchpad, my application should receive that point and send that point as a message. Please help me or give me some hints. I haven't found a thread about this.
