Json encoding and replacement for JSON_UNESCAPED_UNICODE
As I cannot use JSON_UNESCAPED_UNICODE
because my php is <5.4, I tried some replacements from the json_encode()
man page :
$final = array (
0 => array (
'id' => 26629,
'content' => ' 5 '
),
1 => array (
'id' => 26628,
'content' => ' 5 '
),
2 => array (
'id' => 26627,
'content' => ' 5 '
)
);
$myDirtyString = json_encode($final);
$myDirtyString = str_replace("\/","/",$myDirtyString);
$myDirtyString = str_replace('"','\\"',$myDirtyString);
echo $myCleanedString = json_decode('"'.$myDirtyString.'"');
And the result:
[
{"id":"26629","timestamp":" 5 "},
{"id":"26628","timestamp":" 5 "},

]
Why is the last element such a mess?
I tried
header('Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8');
... but still an assistant professor.

If you are using PHP version before 5.4, this might help:
