Intermittent WCF activation errors

I am running a WCF service locally in my dev block and my tests verify that everything is fine with this service.

Usually everything is fine, but sometimes (5% of the time), I get the error

The requested service, 'net.tcp://csmattdev2:9000/Wcf/Service.svc' could not be activated. See the server diagnostic trace logs for more information.

The information in the event log looks like this:

WebHost failed to process a request.

To fix, the only thing that works is reset IIS and rebuild the comms project.

Any ideas what this might be?

Try to remove everything from the root of the website except for the following things.

1) .svc which you use to display the endpoint
2) .config file
3) bin files containing your service code



Basically remove all web apps from web root
