I have an iPhone, iPad and Mac on a wirless network. Ping times for router and Mac are around 1-5ms. But ping times for iOS devices are around 100ms and sometimes longer. What for? Is there a way to make it faster?
If your mac and routers are connected via wires then it is useless to compare a wired connection to a wireless connection.
Wired connections are faster and even depend on the bandwidth of the wireless connection.
