I am interested in developing premium themes for Tumblr. I can find little information on the website about the process - my guess is that after submitting the topic, you are offered price options, etc.

Neither the developer or themes page contains any information.

What is the process / guidelines / rules? Are there online resources?

The Tumblr Terms of Service section under the heading Blog Topics states:



"To develop and distribute custom themes that are Premium themes, please email us."

Don't just imagine! It goes to a free section once approved and is not easy to take off. Always email them but they either don't respond or take a very long time
