Is it possible to migrate all forum posts and user data from Simplest: Push wordpress plugin to Vanilla forum?

I want to migrate our forum system from Simple: Press (a Wordpress forum plugin) to the Vanilla forum (the open source version runs on our own system). We have quite a lot of existing postal data and user data that we would like to keep.

so my question is, how can we successfully migrate from Simple Press to Vanilla forums?
