Linking existing annotation to multiple objects
Let's say an organization has an attached document. Can I associate this attachment with a parent organization through a plugin?
I know that another annotation can be created for the parent record and a file can be copied into it. But I would like to avoid keeping copies of the attached file.

In short, copying is your only option for the annotation to appear in both entries.
The way annotations are created completely blocks this sane possibility. "Has-a" Object annotations, although Objects are represented as the parent of the annotation in forms. So we are stuck with duplication.
You can always write your own scripts with unsupported Microsoft schemas and web resource control ... Make sure to share with the community if you do :)
