How do I know if My Feed News Atom Feed will be processed or not?

EDIT: 2013-06-11: I mean this is a way of confirming that Newsstand Atom feed does not damage the routine filling newsstands. When I posted this question, I want to check the Atom feed for an already released app, but I was afraid that the current Newsstand item (manually added) displayed in the App Store could be removed. So I tried to test the same feed on another dummy app in iTunes Connect, but I wasn't sure if everything was ok because Newsstand items in the Atom feed are not showing up in iTunes Connect ...

I set the Atom feed url and waited 24 hours (3 days), but issues from the Atom feed are not showing up in "Manage Newsstand" in iTunes Connect. I tested this for an unreleased app . So I don't know that these Atom feed issues will show up in the App Store. Is this the correct behavior? Does anyone use atom feed to update issues?

FYI, I quoted notes on Atom Feed settings:

Information about the feed is processed once a day. After adding or updating your feed, you may need to wait 24 hours before the change is visible in iTunes Connect and / or the App Store. For more information, see the Atom Feed Atom Specification.

PS I'm sorry to cross-post this question with https://devforums.apple.com/thread/147608 , but the forum thread seems to be empty ...

update: The feed was confirmed at the time the url was entered (I've fixed some bugs).

Make sure you meet all the requirements stated in https://itunesconnect.apple.com/docs/NewsstandAtomFeedSpecification.pdf

In particular, the xml tags should be organized as indicated. One of the reasons the cover icon won't update is because the image dimensions are incorrect. This icon must be at least 1024 pixels on the long side.
