Web Services Available to display the number of satellites visible for the given coordinates
Hi I want to know if there are any web services or urls available to get the number of visible satellites by transmitting longitude and latitude. I tried searching but could find a service to use as a desktop application. I want to use this service without using GPS or GPRS. If anyone knows the web service or url please let me know.

Best web service for getting Heavens-above satellites , however I'm not sure how you could get your database yourself.
In addition, there are several options:
- You can download the TLE (basically the data needed to calibrate the satellite positions) from Celestrack and find a library to calculate the satellite overhead data from your position.
- You can get GPS coordinates easily from a web service. See this question .
