Android main event radio buffers

I have downloaded the standalone logcat tool.
It syncs between log buffers (main / events / radio), but I don't know what those buffers are.
We will be glad to receive some recommendations.

main - main application log
events - for information about system events

radio - for radio and telephone information


system - log for low-level system messages and debugging
