Andengine WakeLock

Is it required WAKE_LOCK

to grant permission in AndEngine? If I try to remove this permission WAKE_LOCK

, I get a SecurityException.

It is not necessary to set the wakelock resolution, but it is mandatory because if the screen timer expires (for example 15 or 20 seconds), the screen will be blank, interrupting the game and you must open (wake up) the phone again. So this is necessary.
