Why is the app icon not showing in itunes?

Hi, I install the app via iTunes, but when I add the app (.ipa file) to iTunes, it doesn't display the app icon image, and when I install the app in iPhone, it displays the app icon image.

May I find out where the problem is.

I want the image to be displayed when I add the .ipa file to iTunes.

Have you added an iTunesArtwork icon file?

Please note that it should be 512 x 512 PNG images, but its name is iTunesArtwork without file extension.

If u get ipa file from xcode and open it in itunes, it will not show icon image in itunes, if you install it in ur iphone via sync with itunes then icon will appear.



This is a common thing. Do not worry about it.

you need to add 76x76, 152x152, 40x40, 80x80, 29x29, 72x72, 154x154, 50x50, 100x100 and iTunesArtwork to view the correct app icon.

The iTunesArtwork (512 X 512) and iTunesArtwork @ 2x (1024 X 1024) icon must be added without image extension.
