PayPal Sandbox issue (redirected to "My Account")

I have two PayPal Sandbox / Developer accounts - 1 is mine, 1 is my clients.

I have a donation form, it worked for us for a while and testing was always done against my personal account. Its always been good, no problem.

Recently we needed to make some changes and we thought it would be beneficial for the client to get their own account to make it easier for them to work on everything.

Changing the Sandbox address on any of the outlet addresses I created with their sandbox account has the strangest issue - when I click the Donate button, I am redirected to the My Account screen for that merchant Account. I didn't get into the donation or confirmation summary, I don't have the option to pay, I just get to the same screen you get when you sign in to PayPal to view your account.

If I switch the email address back to my personal fake merchant, no problem.

I do not see any differences between trading accounts.

Hopefully one of you PayPal genius can shed some light on this.

EDIT / Clarification:

There was some misunderstanding, so to clarify;

I have two developer accounts
Each one has a merchant and a merchant account
I am registered with the correct developer account before testing
I am not redirected to the login page - I am redirected to my account summary.

When you use a sandbox account to pay, you must log in using your developer account . Customer addresses and addresses (sandbox test logins) created using this developer account will only redirect you to donations and payment options. If you use other Merchant addresses that are not generated using your developer account, you are redirected to the PayPal login page.
