How to combine results from individual domains in Google Analytics

How do I combine results from individual domains in Google Analytics?

I am currently setting up Google Analytics for .com.de and .cn sites. I have different Google Analytics profiles set up for each, and they would like to combine the results as a whole for viewing from this perspective, without putting them in a table. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

As I said, I don't know how to say this. However, there is a bit of a hack, assuming I understand you correctly, and your domains are on different profiles, not different properties. In this case, you must use the same tracking code for all of your domains under one property, with each domain being its own profile. In this case, your "rollup" profile will be a profile without a filter. Meanwhile, each of the individual domains will contain a filter to track only one domain. A profile without any filters will collect all data, while profiles with filters will only collect data from the domain specified in the filter. It has no rollup properties, but does have rollup profiles.

There is currently no way to combine data from multiple profiles in GA. The current standard for getting aggregated information is that in addition to each site that has its own profile, you must also set up a "master" (rollup) profile that retrieves data from all of your sites. Here is a link to the GA docs explaining the setup:

Key components for cross-domain tracking

Unfortunately GA doesn't provide a way to apply all of this retroactively or import historical data into a profile, so you'll have to go to "export to spreadsheet and do the magic there" for historical data :(

There are two ways to do this:

One way is described by @Crayon. Another thing you can do is:

Create a different account for each of your sites. Track all general information in the accounts on the site. In addition to this, create a new web resource that is used to create a second tracker on all sites and is used as a collapsing property.

The advantages of this approach are as follows:

  • You can track different things on the summary page and on the individual account.
  • In a summary account, you can ignore certain domains if needed.
  • You don't have to guess with filters.

There is another option for GA Premium users: you can try to set up "summary reporting" ( https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6033415 ).

You can usually view the table with different host / domain names, not sure if this is what you want. https://www.fourfront.us/blog/using-the-hostname-filter-for-accurate-google-analytics-data
