Eclipse Juno editors side by side give a white stripe

Eclipse Juno Build id: 20120614-1722, running on Windows XP 64-bit. Using a classic theme.

Eclipse Juno gets this white panel when I open two editors side by side. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Perhaps, to answer my question, this does not always happen: after closing and reopening a couple of times, I see it without a white bar.

I fixed this by closing and reopening Eclipse. This should be a recurring question because I have not been able to reliably rewrite it. It might have been some kind of perspective combination that I used, stretching Eclipse across two screens and high memory.
