WPF: XAML XML Parsing Exception Was Unhandled

I met in WinForms and I am trying to learn some WPF stuff.

I am experiencing this XAML parsing exception while initializing a window. Here are some of the research I've received so far.

To begin with, I have 2 classes called "Question" and "Answer".

I got an error when I tried to initialize these 2 classes like this:

public MainWindow()
{
    InitializeComponent();
}

private string _firstName;

public string FirstName
{
    get { return _firstName; }
    set { _firstName = value; }
}

Question _question = new Question();
Answer _answer = new Answer();

private void MetroWindow_Initialized_1(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
}

private void MetroWindow_Loaded_1(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
    //some code here
}

private void btnStart_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
    //some code here
}

But when I tried to remove the Q&A initialization, it works fine.

BTW I am using MahApps.

Can someone give me a hint with my problem? Many thanks!

[EDIT]

They say

The invocation of the constructor on type 'Recitation_Game.MainWindow' that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception.' Line number '4' and line position '9

You can look at my xaml, here it is:

<Controls:MetroWindow x:Class="Recitation_Game.MainWindow" ShowIconOnTitleBar="true"

I suspect the problem is that your XAML is trying to use an event handler Window.Loaded

, but there isn't one (at least not in the posted code).

This is line 4 of the xaml line:

 Loaded="MetroWindow_Loaded_1"

As said, XAML Parse Exceptions don't provide much information in their post. However, you can check InnerException

for exceptions and usually get more details on why the XAML parser is failing.
