Accessing an SMB resource without a password

smbclient

Works fine when accessing password protected shared SMB .

But when I try to access shared data that is not password protected (public shares) it smbclient

prints:

tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

      

        
        
        
      

    

How can I access these resources?

I am trying to access Windows 7 from my Ubuntu 12.10
