Remove PDFs, PPTs from Google Custom Search
I want to remove all nonHTML content pages containing PPT, DOC, PDF files from Google custom search. I've tried various url patterns on my custom search engine but still returns pdfs and ppts in search results.

Search Features → Advanced → Web Search Settings → Query Supplement
Query Supplement : Adds additional query parameters to the search. Search results will be served using OR logic. Supported values: Any search query to add to a custom query.

I added -filetype:pdf -filetype:ppt -filetype:doc
and I don't get PDF, DOC, PPT in the results.
