Can Javascript retrieve cookies from the response header of the current page?
- Cookie is a special type of HTTP header.
- Javascript is able to fetch all cookies for the current page (e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/a/135006/ ... ).
- However, you cannot get the header of the current : page ( Accessing the HTTP Headers of a Web Page in JavaScript ) unless you make another request.
Why is it designed this way? Is it a security issue?
