Is there a way to export notes taken in Google Play books?

I took a series of notes in a book that I read on google play books. Is there a way to export these notes together as a text document or some similar format?

Google changed this and now, if you have an Android device, you can get your notes in Google Drive. Just do this:

  • Open Play Books on Android Device.
  • Go to Settings
  • Save notes, shortcuts and bookmarks to Google Drive - enable this.

This feature is still not perfect. The biggest problem I am having is that the page number is not being recorded properly for most books. Instead, you have a link that opens a page on Google Play Books. So it will probably work for you personally, but sharing notes and understanding sheet music across devices is problematic.

It's not perfect, but here's one way to do it. You will then receive a zip file with your book (s) and an HTML (or JSON) file with your notes.

Follow this link on Google Data Tools https://www.google.com/settings/takeout/downloads

Click the button Create New Archive

Click the button Select None

Go to Google Play Books and turn on the switch

Click the down arrow

Download all or click on the Select Books item (a popup will appear where you cannot select it again and search at the top)
Once you have selected your books, move on to the next one at the bottom. Pick your export options and you're good to go.

there is no such feature available at the moment. I already sent a request, see what the google developers have to say.

He works on some books and not others. I am unable to compile a summary / review of a Guttag book for my class. I have a printable version and you bought the Playbook version.
