Why is this XMLHttpRequest calling http 406
It's XMLHttpRequest to get json form. I tested it on 3 different hosts:
- localhost: http 200
- my test VPS host: 200
- my total walking: 406
I have compared the titles over and over again. Then I googled and read so many articles all day long .. but can still figure out why .. A little suspicious points to me here:
- Request url: http://example.com/oxwall/base/ajax-loader/component/? cmpclass = PHOTO_CMP_AjaxUpload & r = 0.41719201277010143 -> 'oxwall' is my php app, real directory, while 'base' is no real directive.
- XMLHttpRequest not supported by some Godaddy config?
- json: I see many reported 406s with Json:

I assume you need to install Accept. If you are not using jQuery (not tagged with this), here 's how you can do it with vanilla JS:
xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Accept"
, "text/html");
You should try to open the URL in a browser, as you need to post its values to make sure it works correctly. You can create html file using form = post action = method of your godaddy site.
