Lower margin in gedit (Ubuntu)

I am using gedit for Ubuntu as my starter environment. My problem is, when I scroll down, you stop when the last line I wrote is at the bottom. However, I would prefer that the scrolling stops when the last line I wrote is on top. I can "fake" it by creating a lot of blank lines, but I don't think that's good style. In sublime text, this feature is activated out of the box.
