Can I make a subversion shortcut (and return it in a usable form)

What happens if I commit a Windows subversion shortcut?

(The motivation is here , although I honestly don't expect to actually do this, but I've done something similar on Linux in the past.)

Suppose I add and fix a shortcut for subversion in Win7:

  • Can I use it if I run it again later?
  • Can my teammates use it when they test it for the same path?
  • Can I create a shortcut that uses a relative path?
  • Does it matter that I use SlikSvn and others tend to use TortoiseSVN?
  • Can I test it on Windows Server 2012 or some other version of Windows and expect it to work?

TIA.
