Using the calendar in my app to keep track of my events and sync to Google calendar

I am new to ios development and I want to create an application that sync an event from Google Calendar. I'm browsing google but couldn't find any example code that can help me, where can I start my application from? Please help me, your proposal may be my starting point or may be a direction for me.
