Deleting Image Pictures in iTunes?

I have an existing iTunesArtwork image

To change the image, I converted it to a png image

As I read that iTunes work is nothing but a png image without a png extension

so I added the png extension and it became a png image, after which I changed the image then I removed the png extension and it didn't work as it should be.

Any help is appreciated!

The above steps are correct for windows environment, but on Mac, you need to follow these steps /

Right click on the image -> Select GetInfo -> Select Name and Extension -> remove extension.png -> close GetInfo Box -> Give Yes when prompted to save.



This is the way to remove or change an extension on Mac
