Mark of occurrences for JSP and Scriptlets does not work in Eclipse

I am unable to highlight the relevant variables in JSP and scripts. I've already tried Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Editor -> Mark Occurrences


and
Preferences > General > Editors > Text Editors > Annotations

.
They do not work.

Is there a way to highlight the matched variables in JSP and scripts?

I am using Eclipse Java EE IDE for web developers.
Version: Luna Release (4.4.0)
