Join the google live multiplayer game room.

Is there a way to let players join the game room when using google play games multiplayer services? This is stated in the Google Play realtime multiplayer portal, https://developers.google.com/games/services/common/concepts/realtimeMultiplayer "However, no new players can join a room after it is" full " (do not even fill the space that the participant has vacated).

But is there any way existing / planned to allow players to join (rather than join) the current room? My use case is that if for some reason the player had to leave the room (like onStop), what is the way to join him in a multiplayer game?
