Riak in Spring Application

Riak in Spring Application

After July 6, 2011, I cannot find newer versions of spring-data-riak than 1.0.0.BUILD-SNAPSHOT. Has the project been abandoned? If I am using Riak in a Spring project, should I use the Basho java-client library instead? Or is there a spring-data-riak replacement that I should check out?
