How do I turn off the "Credit Card Check" feature on iOS 8 Safari?

Recently, Safari on iOS 8 introduced a new "Scan Credit Card" feature on form fields that it identifies as credit card input. However, I cannot find any documentation on how this feature works or, more importantly, how to disable it. I do NOT want this to be displayed on my form, but I see no way to turn it off.

Has anyone figured out how to disable this "feature"?
