How to install "real rvm" in Cloud9?

I need to use Ruby 2.1.2 on Cloud9. rvm

already installed, so it was nice:

samueller@test2:~/workspace $ rvm -v
Warning! PATH is not properly set up, '/usr/local/rvm/gems/ruby-2.1.1@rails4/bin' is not at first place,
         usually this is caused by shell initialization files - check them for 'PATH=...' entries,
         it might also help to re-add RVM to your dotfiles: 'rvm get stable --auto-dotfiles',
         to fix temporarily in this shell session run: 'rvm use ruby-2.1.1@rails4'.

Annoying warning ... I get an error on startup rvm install 2.1.2

, but then I noticed this support web page about installing "real rvm" at https://docs.c9.io/writing_a_ruby_app.html :

curl -L https://get.rvm.io | bash -s stable

Unfortunately, although I get the error too, but I can't install the latest Ruby:

Can Ruby 2.1.2 or 2.1.3 be installed with Cloud9? Does rvm

There is not much that cannot be done in C9. The answer is mostly listed in the error message. Try:

$ rvmsudo rvm get head


It takes a while to update, but patience will be rewarded: installing these Ruby versions should work like a charm.
