Bootstrap3 datetimepicker cannot load locale
(Using Rails 4) I am trying to display bootstrap3 datetimepicker in the current locale, it works fine in English, but when I try to insert the required locale file in application.js (as stated in the doc) I get an error:
[Error] TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating '$.fn.datetimepicker.dates')
(anonymous function) (application.js, line 15026)
in my assets, application.js, I have:

Maybe this javascript content is wrong ... but why? or is there another problem? the problem is not with the datetimepicker as it displays correctly in english (default)

with this latest version using instant.js ... I SHOUDL using locale moments !!! so my bootstrap-datetimepicker.fr.js should be:
