Debug a Windows Phone app in battery saver mode

Is there a way to do this?

If I have my phone turned on, even if I have Battery Saver turned on, the fact that it is connected takes priority and therefore does not work in Battery Saver.

Also, if I try to debug with any of the emulators, the emulators seem to work with both 100% offline and pluggable life.

Any guidance here is greatly appreciated. I hope I missed something really obvious.

Thank.

Bardi

Now this is an old question, but if you are using WP8.0 project, you can use Simulation Dashboard to simulate Network, lock screen and reminders, but there is no real way to do this for simulating battery. This is very creepy because the actual Visual Studio emulator for Android allows simulations of the battery state.
