CNAME and WHM - how to stop adding domain name automatically

Really fast - I am trying to use mailgun for my email.

One of the requirements is to add CNAME = mailgun.org

I am trying to do this through WHM - and can successfully create an entry under Change DNS Zone for a domain.

The problem is that it automatically adds my domain name after the entry "mailgun.org"

So when I save the entry, it is saved as mailgun.org.mydomainname.com

How do I stop my domain name from being automatically added to CNAME ??

For anyone else who has this problem, the answer is simple - just add fullstop after mailgun.org (mailgun.org .

)



Simplest things, but when you don't know them, they can be real pain!

I had the same problem and solved it by adding an extra space after typing mailgun.org.



So enter the following: mailgun.org (add a space after the last period)
