How to make iOS AVPlayer recover from network rack?

When I disconnect my device from the internet while playing a video on AVPlayer, it stops after a few seconds, but doesn't recover when I reconnect to the internet link. How can I restore it from this state?

I can tell when the replay and kiosk buffer runs out, but the problem is resuming replay when the internet channel is reconnected.
