Why can't I see http or https traffic from Chrome for Android browser to Charles Proxy?

I followed the directions from here: SSL Proxy / Charles and Android Problems

I can see HTTP and https requests from apps, but I don't see any request from my Chrome Android mobile browser going through Charles Proxy.
