Send MMS programmatically in Android 4.2+

I am trying to get address, port and proxy for sending MMS programmatically. However, compared to Read APN in Android 4.2? it looks like Google has removed the ability to directly request this information. I've found ways to work with some phones, but given that Google hasn't banned the policy to send MMS messages from third party apps, there should be a good way to do it.

What is the current method of sending MMS in the Android world after 4.2?
