Question

In case of custom execution of the exclusion step other than ABANDONED

I have a situation where a step can throw a custom exception and execute the exception job stops. The problem I am facing is the exception in "step2", Spring "Package status", "LOCKED", I tried to override the step status with the afterStep method and explicitly set the SetpExecution instance status available in the afterStep method. However, in the database tables, the status for "step2" is "ABANDONED". I need to set it to complete so that I can restart the job and repeat the step. Any help?
