Genymotion doesn't work on Mac

I just installed Genymotion this week on my Mac and I also installed the VirtualBox app. I can get emulators to work intermittently, but often when they crash unexpectedly or won't open with the following error:

Unable to connect to virtual appliance. Genymotion is now closing. Check your VirtualBox network configuration.

Everything I was looking for didn't work. The virtual network seems fine. I've tried deleting vm creating new ones, nothing seems to solve this problem. This goes up to the point where genymotion is unusable on my Mac. Works fine on my windows machine.

By the way, logs are endless messages that look like this:
