Is there a way to move a Google Analytics property to a new account?

When I initially created my Google Analytics account, I added all my sites (properties) to one account. Now I would like to move them to my own accounts, but I cannot find anywhere where this option is available.

I can easily create a new account, but it seems to have to do with creating a new property and view. If possible, I would like to preserve the historical data that GA has already collected for this website.

Note. I use terms according to 3 columns in GA admin page: account, property and view

There is currently no way to move properties in accounts.

Update : Jan 2016 - There is still no function to move properties.
