MVC Upgrade 4.0.0.0 to 4.0.0.1 - breaks libraries

For reference see: System.Web.Mvc not working as expected after Windows update

I managed to fix all links in web projects using the link above. However, in the class libraries where I reference System.Web.MVC 4.0.0.1, I still get the error: The name "ViewData" does not exist in the current context

I can see the correct DLL being referenced in the solution explorer - when looking at properties, it is set to 4.0.0.1.

Any ideas?

I suspect this has nothing to do with the MS update. It looks like this code was added later and never compiled - not even in 4.0.0.0 .. Apologies.
