How to programmatically disable iOS 8 video recording on Mac Yosemite?

Apple has released a new feature that allows you to record videos using the QuickTime player. All you need to do is connect your iOS 8 device to your Mac Yosemite machine, launch QuickTime, and set the connected device as the movie source. (As described here: http://www.tekrevue.com/tip/record-iphone-screen-quicktime/ )

I would like to prevent QuickTime from recording a movie while my application is running. Any idea how I can do this?

Any value I can change in the plist? Any special event that I can listen to? Any other creative way to disrupt this process?

Thank!

Nile

According to Apple Developer tech support, it is not possible to select your apps from screen capture: \ Time to submit an improvement request, I guess.
