Reading Dynamics NAV 2009 Table Metadata Tables with SQL

I would like to be able to read Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 table metadata directly from a SQL Server database without requiring a NAV development environment. This question is similar to reading Dynamics NAV table metadata with SQL , but I need to access NAV 2009 R2 metadata and this answer doesn't work for me.

I found out that NAV 2009 uses some sort of compression algorithm on blob fields. I need to know what this algorithm is. Or maybe someone advises on how to try and rebuild it. Disabling compression is not acceptable.
