MPMoviePlayer doesn't show controllers in iOS 8 for streaming url

I am using MPMoviePlayer for streaming video in iOS 8 . Clicking on the player does not display the controls on the iPad. But its working in iOS 7 After playing in full screen, the controls show and work fine. The url contains a .m3u8 file. I tested the .mp4 url ​​and it works fine on iOS 8. I think the problem is only with the streaming url.
