Why google provides eight DNS records to set up custom appspot domain

I am using a custom domain with my app-engine website . Right now my site is "working" intermittently. In other words, if I go to the suit domain, it takes me to my site; if I go again it takes me to an error page that was not found. I bought a domain name through GoDaddy. When I call GoDaddy they say this because I have four A's and four AAA resource records and I have to use them instead. The point is, I tend to trust Google. So maybe someone who has successfully used recently used custom domain with engine app can help me a little. Do I need all four options for A

and all four options for AAA

? Why is Google giving me eight DNS resource records?

Old question. No answer.

The short answer is: use everything 8. Why? Because the lord of Google told you.

Long answer: one A and one AAAA address should work. Having multiple routes of records, requests round robin.

PS The Recording Card matches IPv4 addresses. AAAA record matches IPv6 record.
