Hadoop 5- Node Test Setup - Minimum Hardware Requirements

I am trying to find the minimum hardware requirements for a 5 node Hadoop cluster (v 2.2) that I will be installing for experimentation.

Because this cluster is configured as a test, I do not require massively powerful systems (I hope to use beige boxes with minimal hardware required to create the environment). I have looked through online hardware requests many times but could not find an answer for my specific needs.

The cluster will be I / O oriented, the main purpose of which is storing and retrieving data (file sizes will not be excessively large). In the meantime, there is no need to know about it. ”

I need minimum hardware specs for:

• NameNode
• YARN server (for resource management)
• DataNode nodes

Since I am very new to Hadoop, I might leave some details that might be required to answer my question. Please advise if there is any other information I can provide.
