You must provide a valid privacy policy URL to accept your Live app. Go to the Application Details section and make sure it is valid

I am unable to publish my facebook app, when I click yes under Developer Status and Feedback I see this message You must provide a valid privacy policy URL to accept your Live app. Make sure it is valid . "

In the privacy area, I have the correct url and I tried to change it with others as well, but keep seeing messsage. this happens not only for one application, but for others as well. maybe for this reason i think this is a temporary issue of the developer platform?

Because you added the Platform before adding the URL privacy policy and the URL Terms of Service.

So please remove any platforms you added to Settings-->Basic

and then add your privacy policy URL . Click on Save Changes . Now turn on your status (Set To Live) again click on save changes . Now you can add your platforms again and click Save Changes .

The problem will be solved !!

I went to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and entered my privacy policy URL. An error occurred in the verification results in one section while converting the domain to a valid IP address. I clicked "Get new information to clean up" and the error went away. Then I resubmitted my application and instead of an error, it allowed me to get started.

Upload your terms to a host (like Firebase hosting) and use that URL.

I have a problem too ..

The contact information of the data protection officer and the contact email address must match. then click save changes.

Then you can run your application

In my case, the meta og: url pointed to https://simcompanies.com/privacy/ , while the page is indeed located at https://www.simcompanies.com/privacy/ (WWW is not in OG).

This seems to really confuse FB and make it think the URL is invalid.

I used a debug tool to find this issue. https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

My advice is to make sure the debug tool doesn't display any errors / warnings for your privacy policy URL.
