Jenkins builds filtering based on build description

Is there a way to filter job assemblies based on the mapping of the description to the assembly name. Each assembly name is set by a plugin named build setter, and want to filter with a mapped assembly name with a regex with a view? I know there is a search filter view for a job description, just like we need for a build description.
