Add an ascidiotic title page

Does anyone know a way how to add text to the title page. More precisely, I need a table on the first page of my generated pdf. I am using asciidoctor with asciidoctor-pdf to generate a pdf from my asciidoc file. Hope someone can help me here.

I already know how to add a background cover image, but that doesn't help me.
